BOB SANDER

Bob Sander is Sander Capital Advisor’s founder and principal. He is a registered investment advisor. His business career in financial management has spanned more than forty years. He began his business career in 1975, working as a stockbroker for Kidder Peabody & Co. in Seattle. Bob went on to start Sander Capital Advisors in 1983, when he saw there was a need to help people grow their financial portfolios, rather than have their wealth just sit in the bank or be misguided by other large institutions. Clients stay with Bob for decades because of his constant attention to their investments and the continued growth they see in their wealth. Bob previously worked managing more than 100 properties as Director of Rainier Properties Inc.

Bob is a graduate of the University of Washington with a B.A. in History.  

Bob has been involved with supporting many local charities and schools.  He has served on the board of The Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture.

MIKE SANDER

Michael Sander is an investment advisor representative and principal at Sander Capital Advisors. Michael’s financial strategy parallels his father’s investment philosophy, giving customers the same focus to meet their wealth goals. Prior to Sander Capital Advisors, Mike worked for Chase as a Private Client Banker in Seattle. He was a National Achiever two years in a row for reaching the top ten percent in sales nationwide. Mike has been in the investment field since 2004 when he started working as a commodities broker with Altavest Worldwide Trading Inc. Mike has been quoted for his macroeconomic and commodity outlook analysis by several financial news outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CNBC, and many more. 

Mike is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Management. He earned his MBA and Masters of Management in Energy degrees from Tulane University.

Outside of the office Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He volunteers at hospitals for children, retirement centers, and regional community events benefiting children.
